Service Description
Use almost any natural material--leaves. ferns, grasses—to create luminous prints. This simple printmaking process offers the experienced artist and beginning artist alike an alternative to technical and laborious printmaking methods. This simple process provides a means for immediate expression, exploration, and gratification. This approach becomes complex and engaging. Found natural dried materials or any flat materials are laid on a plexiglass plate rolled with printer’s ink. Dampened paper is placed over these and then this is rolled through an etching press to transfer the ink onto the paper. Several runs through the press produce rich color and spatial complexity. The results are surprising and beautiful and satisfaction is almost guaranteed.
