"The only rule I give myself is to follow inspiration fully. The subject of my work is light, space, and whatever is happening in the present moment. My immediate surroundings and the natural elements are my vessel of expression. My work is a record of the joy I experience during a radiant sunrise, a walk by the river or when observing the subtlety of dusk's light on tree bark. The subject matter informs new ways of using materials and encourages experimentation, transformation and growth."
