If you are interested in some part of photography’s 150 year history, the impact of photojournalism or fine art images, the changes brought by digital imaging, or just want to talk about a photograph you like (or, perhaps, don’t like at all), please join us for Photo Book Conversations the first Monday each month, starting at 6:30pm at Studio 224.
Photo Book Conversations are currently postponed and will resume when Studio 224 reopens in September.
These monthly gatherings are intended to promote an ongoing dialogue about photography, either from a historical or social perspective, through the use of photography-related books.
Everyone is welcome and participants are encouraged to bring a book they would like to share with others as part of the conversation. Books can be from personal collections or from your public library, and can be either biographies, monographs, portfolios, exhibit catalogs, essays, etc.
Private workshops in printmaking and photography are available for individuals and groups!
